Job description

A US-based company on a mission to build the infrastructure that powers best-in-class insurance experiences is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will help lead the team's product development and infrastructure initiatives. The company empowers consumers to gain value and convenience from their own data and enables businesses to securely and quickly support their customers. This will be a full-time, long-term position requiring 4+ hours overlap with the PST/EST time zones.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and collaborate with a product-oriented, distributed engineering team
  • Ensure stability and performance of the application
  • Build and own initiatives like the company’s API, proof of insurance product, document digitization, and consumer-facing insurance wallet
  • Stay updated with new technologies and implement them to increase organizational benefits
  • Create clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of experience working as a full-stack engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and Terraform
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills for regular interactions
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
  • Exceptional management and multitasking skills
