Job description

A US-based company helping customers replace their water heater quickly and install leading brands in all major sizes is looking for a Senior Developer. The selected candidate will be working with state-of-the-art technologies and applying solid expertise and knowledge to deliver efficient solutions. The platform puts customers in touch with top water heater experts and offers them transparent prices and instant scheduling services. This role requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help to plan, design, and execute the entire web architectures
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Develop easy to scale, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Work with a holistic, test-oriented approach for troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a developer
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML/CSS, Redux, Angular, UX Design, WordPress, Spark, or UI Design is essential
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of back-end technologies like Node, Python, PHP, Java, Go/Golang, Ruby on Rails, Django, Google Cloud Platform, Laravel, among others
  • Should be well-versed with DBMS solutions like MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, among others
  • Deep understanding of REST API design and construction will be beneficial
  • Familiarity with large systems, complex code bases, and version control systems such as Git is preferred
