Job description

A rapidly-growing company enabling customers and businesses to efficiently and quickly make a digital transition is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for engaging in the knowledge-sharing process with other engineers. The company is enabling businesses across the print and packaging, supply chain, and retail industries to meet their goals and step into the digital future. This is a great opportunity for developers to work closely with a team of talented professionals and develop robust technologies. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create the back-end, which is the foundation of the product and is heavily relied on by all other systems to handle complex business logic
  • Discuss requirements and implement solutions with product owners, team leads, and other developers
  • Control code reviews
  • Maintain and develop the transaction system
  • Contribute to the DB Core with other developers and participate as a team player

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 4+ years of experience with Python, AWS, and Terraform is required
  • Must have experience with PostgreSQL, tuning and optimizing databases and queries
  • Knowledge of creating database designs, database architectures, and data-intensive database solutions is required
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Jenkins is nice to have
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
