Job description

A US-based company that is enabling organizations to discover and develop new business models that are right for them, is looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building and maintaining new features for the company’s core platform. The company is helping businesses to disrupt the industry and enter new markets with effective coaching, training, and consulting services. This is a great opportunity for developers to expand their skillsets and work with a team of industry professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade the current Rails platform versions and split the database model
  • Develop scalable solutions from scratch and work on existing applications
  • Actively analyze platform performance and take decisions to make necessary improvements
  • Identify and fix performance bottlenecks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
