Job description

A fast-growing company on a mission to help customers with their emotional health, anxiety, depression, and insomnia is looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with planning, designing, and executing different end-to-end web architectures. The US-based company is developing a mental health telemedicine platform to provide online care and drug management for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. The company has managed to raise more than $450mn during their Series C round of funding. This will be a long-term position that requires at least 6+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain applications on multiple platforms 
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and work within a microservices architecture
  • Improve existing products and build innovative new ones
  • Design and develop high-quality reusable code and release new features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and microservices
  • 5+ years of experience with Python
  • Nice to have at least 5+ years of experience with AWS IoT, PostgreSQL, CircleCI, and Node.js
  • At least 5+ years of experience with React, Typescript, and Vue.js is desirable
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English
