Job description

A US-based childcare management platform that provides software solutions to childcare owners, administrators, educators, and parents, is looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building highly performant applications and enhancing existing features of the software. The developer will work closely with the development team in delivering scalable software solutions and upgrading technology stacks. This is a great opportunity for the candidate to work with a fast-growing company and rise quickly through the ranks. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coding, architecting, and designing of system components
  • Build scalable software solutions
  • Design robust, secure, and scalable features 
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to upgrade technology stacks 
  • Enhance customer experience by analyzing requirements and providing software solutions
  • Write readable code and implement best coding practices 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Must have an expert-level working knowledge of Ruby on Rails 
  • Proficiency in React is nice to have 
  • Solid understanding of code deployment and monitoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
