Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to help users control and watch over their diet and nutritional intake in a healthy manner, is looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer. The developer will be in charge of improving the code quality through testing, automation, and code reviews. Users can take back control of their bodies by using the whole range of weight loss solutions, the appropriate tools, and the assistance offered by the company. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who relish the challenge that comes with working in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver a fully functional product 
  • Identify problems and make recommendations on how to tackle them
  • Build the product infrastructure and back-end from scratch
  • Provide a high-quality user experience to overcome scalability issues 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Prolific experience with PostgreSQL and Ruby on Rails
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and spoken
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
