Job description

Job responsibilities

Develop new mobile applications, features, and user interfaces from wireframe models using React ecosystem
Integrate both platforms iOS and Android with Native APIs
Ensure the best performance and user experience of the application
Participate in fixing bugs and troubleshooting performance issues
Maximize code reusability and efficiency to build a reliable solution
Focus on writing clean, readable, scalable, and effective high-performant code
Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in React Native mobile development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Deep knowledge of mobile app development right from prototyping
High-level proficiency in React Native, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, and component state
Well-versed with tools like Flux, Flow, Redux, etc.
In-depth expertise in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with REST APIs, JSON format
Proficient with third-party APIs and mobile libraries for networking
Expertise in creating and maintaining continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications
Strong knowledge of profiling and debugging mobile applications
Fluency in the English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Ability to write automated tests in JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Enzyme, etc.
Solid understanding of Git, MongoDB, Crashlytics and push notifications systems
Capable to create efficient CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Swift, Objective C, and Java
Proficient with Agile software development methods
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
