Job description

A well-established company providing customers with organic ingredients, delectable meals, and personalized recipes crafted by award-winning chefs is looking for a React Native Mobile Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building incredible experiences for the iOS & Android applications. The company’s mission is to empower people to live their healthiest lifestyles by providing customers with organic ingredients and balanced meal packages made from sustainable sources. The company has managed to raise $140 mn+ in fundings so far. This will be a full-time role and requires 5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Product Managers to spec, implement, test, document, and maintain the iOS and Android apps using React Native
  • Apply your expertise with React Native to build custom UI components and create an amazing users experience 
  • Collaborate with the back-end development team on REST APIs used by the mobile application
  • Contribute actively and participate willingly in code reviews and spec reviews
  • Be present at company-wide and team-based meetings such as “standup” calls, sprint planning, retrospectives, all-hands, etc.
  • Strike a sufficient balance between high-quality code and getting a product shipped

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Mobile Developer
  • A high degree of expertise with React Native
  • Experience with native app development in iOS and Android
  • Proven passion for build clear, maintainable products in design and implementation
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
