Job description

A fast-paced company that provides SaaS tools to independent musicians required to compete with major artists is looking for a React Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for assuring that the code meets quality standards. The company offers a platform for selling music to hundreds of worldwide retailers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Beatport, Amazon, TikTok, and many more. The company has managed to raise more than $2 mn in funding. This full-time position requires an overlap with the European time zone.

Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with colleagues, delivery, and support teams to identify, describe, and analyze process bottlenecks and concerns and suggest effective and pragmatic solutionsComplete tasks on schedule, identifying any delays or concerns as soon as possible and offering feasible solutionsEnsure that the code delivered fulfills quality criteriaParticipate in scrum ceremonies (dailies, mid-sprint, planning, presentation)Job Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developerKnowledge of React and TypeScriptFamiliarity with ReduxKnowledge of test-driven developmentExperience in setting up e2e tests using JestCapable of styling interfaces using styled-components and emotionGeneral web application knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and CSSHaving worked within the AWS ecosystem is nice to haveHighly motivated with good problem-solving and English speaking & writing skills
