Job description

A rapidly-growing company building cutting-edge products that will enable businesses to improve hiring outcomes is looking for a React Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and enhancing the organization’s product and technical roadmaps. The company's cutting-edge technology eliminates the guesswork in hiring by allowing businesses to discover and assess the abilities that matter. The company has managed to raise more than £125K in funding during their Pre-Seed round. This will be a full-time position.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the front-end engineering team, simultaneously transitioning a few of the future talent to full-stack
  • Design the front-end architecture, deliver features, and ensure other team members follow the front-end’s best practices
  • Develop expertise on-the-job and make things happen
  • Have extreme attention to detail and concentrate on solving problems with the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Must have experience working with TypeScript, ES5, 6, & 7
  • Prolific experience with RabbitMQ, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, and Jest
  • Extensive experience working with GitHub Action, AWS, Heroku, and microservices based on Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
  • At least 3 years of working with React
  • Solid expertise in Microservices interfacing, GraphQL, and Apollo Client
  • Must have a firm grasp of web fundamentals, DRY philosophy, and clean code
  • Must have prolific knowledge of design patterns and the basics of DevOps
  • Must be a problem solver, continuous learner, strive to adapt to change, and share knowledge 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary
