Job description

A US-based health platform that helps users gain control and manage their diabetes more efficiently is looking for a Mobile iOS Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of designing and building mobile applications on the iOS platforms that meet the product requirements. The company harnesses the power of behavioral science, mobile computing, and data science to transform the lives of patients across the world. The company has managed to secure $100mn+ in funding during their Series C round. This role requires some overlap with the CST and PST time zones. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute actively to research and fact-finding to develop or modify applications.
  • While working closely with senior engineers, fix bugs and update the codebase
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of development projects.
  • Integrate scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.
  • Create sound technical solutions without direct supervision.
  • Examine the code thoroughly and point out any areas that could lead to bugs.
  • Start updating existing APIs on a regular basis by adding endpoints, changing responses, and dealing with errors
  • Identify and communicate potential issues early on and contribute significantly to team discussions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a mobile/iOS developer
  • At least 5+ years of experience with iOS/ Swift
  • Must have expertise with MVBM on iOS
  • Expertise in Kotlin/Android, Swift UI, RX, or Reactive X for Swift-Java is nice to have
