Mobile - iOS Developer

A US-based company committed to helping patients reduce their risk for type 2 diabetes and unlock a new, healthier version of themselves is looking for a Mobile iOS Developer. The developer will play a key role in designing and developing software for the telehealth platform. The company provides a range of services and aids individuals in developing health plans while reducing healthcare costs. During the Series B round, the company successfully raised funding worth over $15 mn. This role requires some overlap with the PST/EST time zones and will be a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with members of the engineering team to develop new iOS features and improve existing mobile apps
• Think big, iterate quickly, and ship code continuously
• Lead the iOS tech stack and develop efficient processes 
• Collaborate with the product management, UX designers, and engineering team to create an exceptional mobile application
• Engage with others to determine overall team direction

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an iOS developer
• 5+ years iOS experience working with Swift/ObjC, XCode, iOS SDK, Jest, and UI Kit
• Experience delivering and maintaining complex consumer-focused mobile applications
• Experience with TDD and pair programming
• Prior experience with performance analysis and optimization
• Knowledge of Apple Health Kit
• Nice to have some experience with Mobile video or video conferencing tools
• Experience with back-end REST endpoint development using Node.js
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both spoken and written English
• Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment
