Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company that is revolutionizing the energy infrastructure industry across the globe with their world-class technology is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for training, monitoring, and analyzing the performance of existing models. The company’s modern technology can prevent power outages and wildfires for power infrastructure inspections by leveraging the advantages of AI, Predictive Analytics, and Actionable Insights. The company has successfully raised $1 mn+ in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively in a team environment with engineers, product management, and a design team
  • Collaborate across teams with stakeholders and partners to produce high-quality results 
  • Write robust, scalable, and clean code that is easy to read and well-documented
  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation regularly

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Python, PyTorch, and Tensorflow
  • Prolific experience in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of Computer Vision, Convolutional Neural Networks, RCNN, Mask RCNN, YOLO, and other Computer Vision algorithms
  • Demonstrable experience working with image labeling services and tools
  • Knowledge of GCP and AWS cloud services
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
