Job description

A rapidly-growing company transforming how people inspect products and processes through applied Deep Learning is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing the Deep Learning vision system and building ML models for a distributed application suite. The company is automating the inspection process, capturing the right data, and presenting it to the ideal people in real-time, thereby empowering suppliers and end-users to respond before a failure incident occurs. This is a full-time, long-term position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Create complex, multi-component machine vision-based systems
Prototype such systems and run detailed tests on real-world data to evaluate performance
Collaborate with platform engineers to create production-level implementations
Ship actual products that people in the real world use
Deliver automated pipelines to produce new models with incoming data collected internally and submitted via 3rd parties
Contribute to the Vue3 application development

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a machine learning engineer
Experience with Python and Machine Learning
Knowledge of AWS and TensorFlow
Nice to have knowledge of Sagemaker, tensorRT, and Vue
Familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript, multi-threading, and Automation is preferred
Experience developing and shipping software to end-users
Skilled at building whatever it takes to deliver delightful, robust systems for end-users
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for writing quality code
Competency in working with remote teams with solid English communication skills
