Job description

A rapidly-growing company transforming how people inspect products and processes through applied Deep Learning is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing the Deep Learning vision system and building ML models for a distributed application suite. The company is automating the inspection process, capturing the right data, and presenting it to the ideal people in real-time, thereby empowering suppliers and end-users to respond before a failure incident occurs. This is a full-time, long-term position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create complex, multi-component machine vision-based systems
  • Prototype such systems and run detailed tests on real-world data to evaluate performance
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to create production-level implementations
  • Ship actual products that people in the real world use
  • Deliver automated pipelines to produce new models with incoming data collected internally and submitted via 3rd parties
  • Contribute to the Vue3 application development

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a machine learning engineer
  • Experience with Python and Machine Learning
  • Knowledge of AWS and TensorFlow
  • Nice to have knowledge of Sagemaker, tensorRT, and Vue
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript, multi-threading, and Automation is preferred
  • Experience developing and shipping software to end-users
  • Skilled at building whatever it takes to deliver delightful, robust systems for end-users
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for writing quality code
  • Competency in working with remote teams with solid English communication skills
