Job description

A rapidly-growing company helping businesses to autonomously run and rearrange atoms built on AI, thereby helping to serve communities better, is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building a team to architect one of the largest AI supercomputing systems in the world to support inventing new products at scale. The company builds AI agents that create products, acquire customers and plan supply chains to support both makers and manufacturers. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire customers, execute and plan the manufacturing process
  • Present reports and results in a clean and understandable manner 
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code 
  • Be responsible for solving complex data processing problems
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an ML engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Python, Pytorch, Distributed Systems, and C/C++
  • Experienced in training neural networks with significant GPU-> GPU communication (machine learning across multiple GPUs) is desirable
  • Experience writing fully optimized CUDA kernels is preferred
  • Understanding the implementation of different library versions (e.g., PyTorch 1.10 and PyTorch nightly) and how it affects the performance of distributed training is nice to have
  • Nice to have some startup experience
