Job description

A U.S.-based company developing industry-leading robotics, automation, and logistics solutions is looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be collaborating closely with the development team to build out new features for the platform. The company assists clients worldwide in automating their supply chains, warehouses, and factories. The company has managed to successfully secure $36mn+ during their Series A round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop APIs for interacting (such as CRUD) with various operations across systems and databases
  • Write repeatable production software deployed in containerized environments
  • Deploy systems to the cloud and then to bare-metal
  • Develop cohesive front-end experience across multiple RIOS products
  • Implement human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for use on RIOS robotic work cells
  • Synthesize internal and external customer requirements to create highly usable applications
  • Actively practice and model scrum/agile and CI/CD best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Proven track record of deploying and maintaining distributed code in production
  • Extensive expertise in UX, Human-Computer Interaction, and/or Human-Robot Interaction
  • Prior experience working with graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL) and frameworks
  • Demonstrable expertise with various storage solutions, including Postgres, Redis, s3, and cloud storage offerings
  • Nice to have experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and various frontend frameworks
  • Experience in Django is preferred 
  • Comprehensive knowledge in scaling data-driven systems
  • Experience debugging and working with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Compose) is a plus 
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
