Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is using cutting-edge technologies to develop state-of-the-art legal products and applications from the ground up, is looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the design team to develop user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and simple to use. The company is utilizing the power of generative AI to revolutionize legal practice in a variety of fields. Job Responsibilities:

  • Using Node.js and Python, create solid back-end systems that support website functionality, such as API integration, database design, and data administration
  • Increase the speed, scalability, and security of web applications
  • Investigate and fix problems, defects, and performance bottlenecks
  • Participate in code reviews to make sure best practices and coding standards are followed
  • Gather and assess requirements for new website features and apps in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, create, develop, and implement responsive and user-friendly websites from the ground up
  • Stay abreast of market developments and trends by constantly investigating and implementing new technologies, techniques, and best practices
  • Whenever required, offer other team members technical assistance and direction
  • Achieve the best performance and maintainability by creating and maintaining reusable code using React.js for front-end components

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Node.js, Python, and React
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Prolific experience developing responsive web design
  • Sound knowledge of database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Thorough understanding of the design and implementation of RESTful APIs
  • Working knowledge of Git and other version control systems
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to work well with stakeholders and team members
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
