Job description

A rapidly-growing company offering consumers a modern alternative to pickup and assembly services for junk is looking for a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer. The developer will be serving the customer, soliciting feedback, and drawing conclusions from the data. The company is developing a next-gen tech-enabled order management and logistics platform. Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn how to ship high-quality, well-tested, and scalable software timely
  • Adhere to software engineering best practices, participate in the product and design processes
  • Help build and improve the team and advocate for best practices
  • Contribute to the features, bug fixes, and improvements that will enhance your growth
  • Constantly communicate progress, blockers, and provide assistance to fellow team members

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 1+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • A minimum of 1+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework
  • Familiarity with CSS and HTML
  • Interest and passion for innovation from a technical, process, and best practice perspective
  • Solid sense of self-management with strong communication and coordination skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
