Job description

An emerging company building a dietitian and trainer-led platform to guide users on their journey to fat loss and muscle gain is looking for an iOS Software Developer. The selected candidate will be helping the existing team to develop an iOS application for the company’s product. The company arranges fully customized fitness and meal plans to meet the needs of each customer. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality user experience, and overcome scalability issues  
  • Write clean, readable codes, perform unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and fix bugs, and deliver high-quality solutions 
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to build mobile applications on iOS
  • Build, and deploy features from end to end
  • Analyze and enhance the performance of the applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an iOS developer
  • Familiarity with Swift and related technologies
  • Nice to have some experience working with Python, JavaScript, and React
  • Some knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB database is desirable 
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
