iOS Mobile Developer

A NASDAQ-listed social networking platform that aims to help users build equitable, healthy, and secure relationships, is looking for an Mobile iOS Developer. The selected candidate will be expected to take ownership of the project and choices pertaining to the process. The US-based platform was built to challenge and change the rules of traditional dating apps. This role requires an overlap with EST/PST/GMT time zones. Job Responsibilities:

• Attend daily stand-ups, plan and demonstrate assigned projects
• Collaborate with QA in weekly release cycles
• Analyze product specs, create implementations, write code, and deliver iOS app feature designs quickly
• Draw conclusions and drive change while keeping performance metrics in mind
• Keep up with the latest Swift and iOS developments
• Contribute technical thoughts and suggestions to improve the product's direction
• Mentor and guide junior team members
• Create code and tests that are efficient, maintainable, and reusable
• Create and maintain build systems, as well as unit tests
• Communicate, participate, and assist as an effective and responsible team member

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile developer
• 3+ years of using Swift for iOS development
• Demonstrable experience working on iOS published applications
• Prolific knowledge of UIKit, Core Animation, GCD, and Networking
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming
• Familiar with analytics, remote reporting, and measurements
• Extensive experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) and Unit Testing on iOS
• Knowledge of socket-based networking is nice to have
• Experience performance profiling with instruments in Xcode
