Job description

A fast-growing startup stemming from an MIT research work to extend the human mind into the computer is looking for an iOS Engineer. As a mobile engineer, you will be developing the iOS application and defining other technical priorities with the core engineering team. The company has raised close to $20mn from some of the world’s most influential investors. The ideal candidate is expected to be passionate about curating all kinds of valuable information for the good of the world. This will be a full-time and long-term position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help in building other core product offerings
  • Partake and contribute to Agile development processes
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality and well-tested code
  • Remain current on developments in the mobile engineering space

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile/iOS engineer
  • Extensive expertise in building iOS Apps or SDKs, especially in Swift
  • Sound ability to design intuitive user experiences 
  • Familiarity with several other development environments, like web development in JavaScript/React
  • Capacity to work well in a team
  • In-depth technical understanding and product-orientedness 
  • Good social empathy and willingness to push for important ideas
