Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company building an alternative credit score and application to serve emerging markets is looking for an iOS Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for quickly building, monitoring, and maintaining iOS applications. The firm is leveraging the power of AI technology to reimagine the financial services industry and provide store credit financing to users. They have managed to secure $5mn+ during their Seed round of funding. This is an excellent opportunity for developers to contribute their talents to a relevant cause.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be comfortable with a high level of responsibility 
  • Take ownership by designing and building independently and fixing problems as they arise
  • Provide general auxiliary development support
  • Collaborate with different technical teams to deliver the needs of the business
  • Interface with the operations team and resolve customer issues as they arise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an iOS engineer
  • Prolific experience with Objective-C, Swift, APIs, CI/CD, and Kotlin Multiplatform
  • Prior experience working with Firebase services like Auth, Analytics, Cloud Messaging, and Crashlytics is nice to have
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and oral
