iOS Engineer

A US-based platform that uses advanced medication and solutions to provide real-time behavioral health monitoring and mental health care is looking for an iOS Engineer. The developer will build out features on the SDK and develop new UIs for the platform’s app. The company uses next-gen machine learning to translate daily activity into sophisticated insights that help monitor and predict patients' mental health conditions more accurately and quickly. The company has so far raised over $10 mn in seed funding from top Silicon Valley healthtech and healthcare investors. This will be a full-time, long-term role that requires 5-6+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on the mobile sensing system and software globally used by people seeking to improve their mental health 
• Improve the sensing framework's performance and incorporate more sensor streams from wearables and other data sources
• Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure the iOS and Android products are consistent
• Write robust, well-structured, reusable, and maintainable code
• Include the right amount of testing and documentation
• Take charge of the entire life cycle for the iOS application and sensing framework from the development down to the distribution of prototypes

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an iOS engineer
• Prolific skills with Swift, SDK experience, and SwiftUI 
• Familiarity with Python, Kotlin, and AWS is nice to have
• Demonstrable leadership and management skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
