Job description

An early-stage fintech startup on a mission to serve the world’s emerging middle class with access to affordable credit, is looking for an iOS Engineer. The engineer will be working with a high level of responsibility, taking ownership by designing and building independently, and fixing problems as they arise. The company is on a mission to build new approaches to unlocking creditworthiness for the 4 billion underbanked people of the world. The company has managed to raise $2.9mn in funding so far. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a group of passionate individuals and rise quickly through the ranks.

Job Responsibilities:

Build, monitor and maintain advanced iOS applications
Take ownership of your tasks by designing and building independently, and fixing problems as they arise
Provide general auxiliary development support to the team
Troubleshoot application bottlenecks to improve app efficiency
Collaborate with different technical teams in order to deliver the required solutions
Interface with the operations team in order to resolve customer issues as they arise

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience as an iOS developer
Proficient with technologies such as Objective-C and CI/CD
Must be a proficient Swift programmer
Strong knowledge of designing and developing REST APIs
Updated with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Prior experience working with Firebase services like Auth, Analytics, Cloud Messaging, and Crashlytics is desirable
Must be good at communication with fluency in English
