Job description

The selected engineer would be responsible for executing product and business strategies as well as building highly interactive, novel products and features for end-users. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within a cross-functional setup and collaborate with product, design, and other engineering counterparts
  • Effectively execute product and business strategies 
  • Build transformative features and products that end-users would love
  • Contribute to the entire product development cycle - from technical design and development, to launch and optimization
  • Review code and design docs, and give feedback on product specs/mocks
  • Establish and define standards that improve developer workflows 
  • Recommend best practices and ensure follow-through
  • Keep abreast of new innovations to improve your technical and non-technical abilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as an iOS Engineer
  • Proficient with Swift and Objective C 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modularization, large-scale refactoring, experimentation, and A/B testing
  • Previous experience with large-scale applications, unit testing, and screenshot/snapshot testing
  • Experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale
  • Knowledge of GraphQL, HTTP, REST, and HTTP basics, would be preferred
  • Ability to design maintainable APIs would be a plus
  • Possess strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule
  • Should be self-motivated and have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
