Job description

A fast-growing company that is building a robust platform that detects and understands objects, gives them a unique ID, and makes them software, is looking for an iOS Developer. The selected candidate will be working within the product team to build out exciting new features and elevate the customer experience. The company is on a mission to add a software interface to everything within reach and ​creating next-gen AR experiences. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-performance experiences with Swift, Swift UI, ARKit, and CoreML and API integrations
  • Implement new functionality in accordance with the requirements and goals
  • Help convert Figma screen designs into Swift functional interfaces
  • In Snap's Lens Studio, create custom integrations
  • Work actively to build and deploy in Testflight
  • Prepare candidates for App Store release
  • Document custom SDKs for the benefit of the external customer base
  • Work with larger teams that work on the platform, rendering, and machine learning training

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as an iOS developer
  • Swift UI & iOS Swift Experience is a must
  • Capability to estimate cost and timelines for initiative and feature prioritization is required
  • Fundamentals of development and deployment, including Testflight and App Store release guidelines
  • Working knowledge of CoreML's Machine Learning models is a must
  • Technical leadership and mentorship demonstrated in the delivery of a creative project
  • Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • The ability to communicate technical information in a clear and simplified manner for non-technical employees 
  • The capacity to work with a process improvement mindset
  • Competency in maintaining and testing software 
  • Work experience at an early stage startup is nice to have
  • Experience with analytics packages is a bonus
