Job description

A US-based rapidly growing technology company that is reimagining the industrial automation industry, is looking for an iOS Developer. The developer will be responsible for implementing various features, improving the existing ones and building scalable yet innovative solutions for the company’s application. The firm is the world’s first software-only autonomous inventory management platform for modern warehouses. This will be a great opportunity for developers to work with a team of research engineers and PhD’s from the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute, who are experts in the sector of autonomous vehicles and vision systems. This role requires 6+ hours of time overlap with EST.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop and perform maintenance tasks for high-end apps for the iOS platform
Work on writing and performing unit/integration tests to ensure usability & efficiency of developed apps
Work alongside the designing team to build and roll out new features
Troubleshoot and remove bugs from developed applications to improve performance
Conceptualize, build and integrate necessary upgrades for applications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience as a iOS developer
Strong knowledge of iOS Development, Objective-C, and JSON
Must be an expert Swift programmer
Knowledge of working with REST API designing and related services development
Strong grasp over Apple’s designing and interface development guidelines
Ability to speak fluent English to collaborate with engineering teams
