Job description

A fast-growing fitness start-up using 3D sensors and AI is looking for an iOS Developer. The developer will be responsible for building new features within the iOS app. The platform features live elite trainers with a focus on making personalized fitness training accessible to everyone. The company has raised close to $300 mn in funding and is backed by Softbank, General Catalyst, Norwest Venture Partners, Founders Fund, etc. This is a great opportunity for the selected candidate to join a close-knit, all-star team that includes alumni from Google, YouTube, Netflix, Airbnb, etc., and rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain advanced mobile applications for the iOS platform 
  • Write & perform unit/integration tests to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability of the applications 
  • Collaborate with the designers to define and implement new application features 
  • Diagnose and fix application bottlenecks to improve performance 
  • Design, develop and implement application updates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience developing iOS Apps with Swift or Objective-C
  • Previous work experience with iOS applications
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines  
  • Expert understanding of the mobile development lifecycle
