Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is offering beauty and wellness specialists business-in-a-box solutions is looking for a Full-Stack Technical Lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting code reviews, assisting with back-end development, and overseeing the development operations staff. The U.S.-based company provides all the tools necessary for beauty experts to launch and run their own independent brands and businesses, including space, internet storefronts, wholesale purchases, payments, insurance, etc. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are passionate about steadily creating scalable solutions that complement our product roadmap.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the complete software development process for both new and old applications
  • Establish and preserve the code architecture
  • Take charge of overseeing Sprints and delivering goods or features
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Product to plan sprints, launch product deliverables, and create roadmaps

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Technical Lead
  • Demonstrable experience working with Python, Django, React, TypeScript, AWS, and Next.js
  • Prolific experience leading a team or in an equivalent role in the past
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how to use them
  • Extensive experience with Git and other version control methods
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern development workflows
  • Solid knowledge of design patterns in software
  • Outstanding team leadership abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulousness
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
