Job description

A fast-growing company building a reliable cybersecurity performance management system is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The engineer should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. The company is driving business decisions for security leaders with their automated platform for cybersecurity and privacy outcomes. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working with complex problems. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior engineers to implement features based on product and stakeholder requirements
  • Develop test cases and unit tests for new and existing code
  • Optimize and refactor code where needed
  • Develop back-end services and front-end user interfaces
  • Integrate with third-party systems via APIs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4-6+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 4-6+ years of PHP development experience using modern frameworks like CakePHP, Laravel, Symfony, or a similar MVC framework
  • 3-5+ years of native JavaScript and CSS experience
  • 2-3+ years of jQuery, Angular, Vue, or React experience
  • Experience working with Front-end UI libraries like Kendo UI or PrimeNG
  • 2-3 years of experience writing queries with a modern RDBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using SCRUM methodologies
  • Experience working with Git or other modern version control software.
  • Basic Linux command line experience (CLI)
  • Team player with an eye for visual design and utility
  • Nice to have some experience with CakePHP versions 3 or 4
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is desirable
  • Experience with a BI tool like Sisense or Tableau, virtualization, and containerization such as Docker is desirable
  • Prior Linux Admin experience and experience with cross-platform/responsive design
