Job description

A fast-emerging company focused on building a trusted search engine for better internet services, is looking for a Frontend React Developer. The developer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and deploying consumer-facing products that utilize AI to generate trusted information. The selected candidate will work with industry professionals and have the opportunity to collaborate with the founding team who have a track record in building companies worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The role is suitable for those who want to contribute to defining and building a team around a strong vision and technology to improve the daily lives of people globally. It requires a minimum of 6+ hours overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Play an active role throughout the work delivery process 
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to build quality products
  • Take pride in collaborative brainstorming and proposing novel extensions
  • Work closely with the founding team to implement new, experimental interfaces and deploy quality, robust solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Track record in designing, implementing, running, and maintaining production front-end code using React, Node.js, CSS, and other frameworks
  • Experience with scalable, user-facing applications that require complex state management, real-time user events, and intricate UI/UX for several platforms
  • Ability to quickly iterate with product and design teams to give reasonable feedback
  • Passionate about details and strive for pixel-perfect front-end code as well as lightning-fast load times
  • Good understanding of the importance of reliable monitoring, deployment strategies, and a highly scalable, robust cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency with best practices and patterns that allow skilled engineering teams to communicate effectively and deliver quick, regular results
  • The capability of writing high-quality code and building a world-class engineering team
  • Excited to ship rapidly and iterate on user-facing code while building a consumer application with high public visibility
  • Ability to take and give feedback graciously as an individual and a team
  • Willingness to learn, dependable, and take pride in your work
  • Strong portfolio across several areas including professional, academic, or personal projects such as production code, published papers, or open-source contributions
