Job description

A fast-emerging company active in the computer gaming space is looking for a Front-end-focused, Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for writing and verifying a suite of automated tests, including regression testing for the software platform. The company is simplifying the process of finding similar players across over 180+ tabletop game systems. This is a full-time role and a great opportunity for those looking to contribute to creating adventurous games. It requires at least 5+ hours of time overlap with CST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and own component architecture, development, and deployments
  • Build compelling user-facing elements
  • Work with a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology life cycle
  • Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Participate in the overall architecture, design, and technical oversight of complex business initiatives 
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient with React.js, Material UI, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL
  • Experience with AWS and Hasura is nice to have
  • Firm grasp over the design and construction of REST APIs
  • Deep understanding of large systems, complex code bases, and version control systems such as Git
  • The capability to function without hand-holding and micromanagement
  • Fluency in English and great collaborations skills
  • Understanding of server-side logic and front-end performance optimization
