Job description

A rapidly-growing, US-based company that is encouraging scholars and educators to go beyond the traditional means of teaching, is looking for a Front-end Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with architecting and building new applications and features while also carrying out some mid-tier work. The company’s platform is empowering experts to offer their services to a broader audience as well as business and governments, thereby helping them to create their own brand. This is a great opportunity for those looking to expand their skill sets while quickly climbing through the ranks. This role requires at least 6+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create designs and develop fluid and intuitive front-end applications
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure the quality of products
  • Work closely with the technical leadership to execute projects based on requirements
  • Utilize a variety of systems and technologies to resolve end-to-end problems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as a front-end engineer
  • Must possess expertise in working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficient with technologies such as React and Redux
  • Experience in writing and executing tests on software applications
  • Ability to work with complex code bases, systems, and source code control systems (Git)
  • Prior experience in developing and supporting mission-critical user-facing services
  • Should be fluent in English to communicate efficiently with engineering managers
