Job description

A US-based e-commerce company that has pioneered the gift certificate/card industry is looking for a Front-end Developer. The developer will be working on building a new front-end that sits in front of an existing API. The company is dedicated to actively building the next generation gift business while utilizing advanced technology that allows users to purchase electronic gifts for each other. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the EST/PST time zones.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other developers and team leads
  • Autonomously implement given ideas and guidelines
  • Write unit tests and build reusable codes and libraries for future use 
  • Document the codebase and engage in the knowledge sharing process with other engineers 
  • Collaborate with UX designers to discuss and ensure the technical feasibility of the UI/UX designs 
  • Optimize the application for faster execution and solve scalability issues 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end/software developer
  • Prolific experience with Node, Next, React
  • Nice to have prior working experience with Material UI
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
