Job description

A well-funded, US-based company that has developed a comprehensive medium for API development is looking for a Front-End Software Engineer. The engineer will assist with the APIs and products while working with the team to build up the front-end development. The company offers an extensible tool for building related software with the help of APIs in a rapid, simplified manner and has garnered millions of monthly active users. Candidates who would like to solve problems at scale and build products that impact more than 15mn developers and organizations alike, are suitable for this role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Successfully deploy code to production with a high level of automation, code coverage, and monitoring
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them through standard software development practices
  • Ensure top quality code; practice code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests in a continuous integration environment
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application
  • Display leadership qualities with an ability to take ownership of technical projects and processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have experience in React
  • Nice to have experience in Python and Ruby
  • Ability to solve complex challenges and arrive at solutions
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
