Front-End Software Engineer

A leading technology company elevating digital transformation for some of the world’s largest enterprises is looking for a Front-End Software Engineer. As a member of the team, you will develop a solid understanding of the customer workflow and requirements and in a bid to enhance the platform to support the needs of customers. The company is NYSE-listed and has raised close to $1 bn in funding under the leadership of some of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley’s leading companies. The selected candidate will contribute to the mission of making data and analytics easy and accessible for everyone. This role requires 5+ hours of overlap with the Pacific time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and articulate on the platform features and data for the products
• Write code with React-Redux and help launch new versions of the software 
• Review other engineers' code and work on adding improvements where needed
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to understand the information architecture and define APIs for responsive UIs
• Own the quality of your code, especially when it is running in production

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
• Previous experience working with REST APIs, React, and Redux 
• Close working experience with customers in a previous role
• Solid expertise in developing models to extract customer feedbacks
• Comfortable working with a team of designers/engineers, review code/designs, and be accountable for each other’s work
• Demonstrable skills in writing unit tests and testable code
• Proficiency with continuous integration, build and release processes
• Be familiar and capable of working with React/Redux, Kubernetes
• Prolific skills in hosting service providers like Amazon Web Services, Google Compute Platform, and Microsoft Azure
