Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing world-class solutions that aim to disrupt the legal industry is looking for a Front-End React Engineer. The engineer will be expected to recognize an issue, create a plan to solve it, and carry it out. The company makes it easier for businesses and legal service providers to manage filings, complete reports, keep internal records and stay in good standing. The company has managed to secure more than $8.2mn during their Seed round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy front-end products aimed at eliciting positive customer responses, focusing on efficiency and delivering remarkable user experiences
  • Utilize software engineering skills to optimize business processes, demonstrating a strong passion for business outcomes
  • Implement a customer-focused mindset, understanding and addressing customer needs and enhancing their experience by offering both identified and unforeseen improvements
  • Employ strategic leverage by focusing efforts on essential elements critical to customer experience, enabling others to build non-customer-facing components
  • Utilize diverse code resources (personal, open-source, toolbox) for faster, reliable, and cost-effective solutions
  • Make use of technology to assist individuals in completing tasks more rapidly, precisely, and well
  • Help people around you be their best selves, and show that you are willing to be politely pushed, questioned, and challenged in return

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with Less, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Demonstrable experience working with React, Webpack, and TypeScript
  • 2+ years using technology and open frameworks to produce valuable products
  • Demonstrated proficiency with React, Redux, and Less to create excellent front-ends
  • Keep an eye on design and appreciate the importance of creating well-thought-out UX and UI to enhance the lives of the clients
  • A high enthusiasm for the procedures and technologies that enable authoring and deploying code on the same day
  • Familiarity with Python is desirable
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English
