Job description

An emerging and highly-intuitive platform helping users discover nearby restaurants based on preference is looking for a Front-End React Developer. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the user interface of the application with a working knowledge of basic technologies like HTML5, CSS, React, etc. The company is building a social atmosphere for foodies and casual diners to share their pleasant and not-so-pleasant dining experiences with others. Candidates who want to join a young startup set for an aggressive expansion in an unsaturated market are suitable for this role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
  • Transform wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant front-end development experience
  • Experience developing modern and responsive mobile applications with React Native
  • Expertise in mobile development using Swift/Android will be a plus
  • Nice to have experience in AWS
  • Excellent ability to troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
  • Superior analytical skills with a great problem-solving attitude
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
