Front-End React Developer

A NASDAQ-listed company that is revolutionizing the finance industry with their cutting-edge cryptocurrency platform is looking for a Front-End React Developer. The developer will be responsible for ensuring maintainability and code quality while mentoring young engineers and taking part in code reviews. The company is enabling customers to easily trade, sell, purchase, and monitor their cryptocurrency investments through their consolidated platform. The company has managed to secure more than $495mn in funding so far. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Write clear, well-documented code that complies with coding standards and best practices
• Focus on developing new features for the payments team
• Add fresh front-end functionality to the current payment system to make it easier for new and returning customers to make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.
• Create and use aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly front-end systems and interfaces

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• 4+ years of experience working with React and JavaScript
• Thorough understanding of AWS, GraphQL, and GCP is desirable
• Some Unit Testing experience in Jest is nice to have
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
