Job description

A fast-scaling security audit and services company that is on the mission to break security bottlenecks and make Web3 safer, is looking for a Front-End React Developer. The selected developer would be responsible for helping the company build its platform and enhance the UI while ensuring an exceptional user experience. The company is building a freelance marketplace of vetted security researchers for Web3 projects, helping them find readily available security resources, and avoid waiting months for security reviews or shipping unaudited code. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the platform’s front-end features using React, TypeScript, and other tech stacks
  • Establish well-maintained CI/CD pipelines to effectively deploy features 
  • Ensure all products are released in a fast, reliable, and secure manner
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand product requirements and define user flows
  • Ensure the platform’s fast load time and smooth interaction by continuously optimizing and improving it 
  • Ensure the platform adheres to best-in-industry security best practices
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends/emerging tech and incorporate them into the platform development process
  • Participate in code review activities and share/receive constructive feedback to ensure code quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs; tackle problems as and when they arise
  • Conduct risk assessment; identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Share knowledge and help build and maintain a modern web app engineering organization
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and advocate for best practices in security and software development

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Front-End Developer
  • Previous experience in developing customer-side features, with a focus on React and modern web development techniques
  • Proficient with relevant technologies such as HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
  • Demonstrable experience with UX tools, design principles, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of using CI/CD pipeline methodologies and tools
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices with a keen interest in maintaining a secure web app environment
  • Proven experience working with responsive design and developing mobile-first features/products
  • Relevant certifications in secure software development or cybersecurity 
  • Versatile portfolio showcasing UI development, UX design work, and CI/CD expertise
  • Background in version control systems including Git and Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies/trends; eagerness to learn
  • Nice to possess an understanding of Web3 and blockchain technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a remote team setting
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
