Front-End-Heavy React Engineer

A U.S.-based company that is developing an innovative API platform that enables developers and other users to effectively build and use APIs, is looking for a Front-End-Heavy React Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for preparing the codebase for translation by externalizing strings in the main program, reworking parts that are too complex for string extraction, and so forth. The company improves interaction and simplifies each stage of the API lifecycle so that users may produce better APIs more quickly. This position requires a significant overlap with either the IST or Western European time zones. So far, the company has managed to secure $430mn+ in funding. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Take part in the organization's onboarding process for the i18next library and build/unit test environment.
• Learn and follow the same thorough plan that existing developers use to externalize strings in the organization's context
• Mentor and guide junior developers, and assist them when necessary
• Create a seamless user experience while constantly collaborating with the designers and customer success team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Prolific experience working with JavaScript or React 
• Demonstrable knowledge of Linux/MacOS/GitHub-based development flow 
• Nice to have some knowledge of i18next or with Postman codebase
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
