Job description

A fast-emerging FinTech start-up offering easy access to additional working capital for offline retailers is looking for a Front-end Engineer. The engineer will own the migration and platform features. The company has successfully enabled more than 10,000 retailers with banking and financial services, and the application has gained up to 15 million potential customers. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate on developing scalable solutions that impact the FinTech industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain various development, test, staging, pre-production, and production environments 
  • Optimize the application for incredible speed and scalability
  • Develop features to boost user experiences
  • Work with the testing team to test the applications as well as fix defects 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-5 years of experience working as a front-end engineer
  • Proficient in HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, MVC, JSON
  • Experience with some server-side technologies
  • Experience building responsive components in Angular 2+
  • Knowledge of consuming RESTFUL and SOAP web services
  • Extensive experience working on third-party libraries and APIs
  • Familiarity with general UI landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Experience in Agile Based development methodology like SCRUM, XP.
  • Prior working knowledge of cloud-based architecture and cloud frameworks such as open stack, AWS, etc. is nice to have
