Job description

A rapidly growing company that is reimagining modern robotics while operating in stealth mode is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of the integration of front-end features with server-side logic. The company is developing a secure and scalable method for autonomous driving that will put consumers’ driverless cars in their hands. This is an amazing opportunity for developers to work on cutting-edge technologies while working in a fast-paced startup environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a video player (based on HLS.js) to handle live streaming
  • Optimize the performance through a video player and log all the key metrics to a server
  • Develop features like seek/pause the stream
  • Build a process of code review for front-end code
  • Choose the right front-end technologies and evangelize it within the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer 
  • Extensive experience in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
