Job description

A U.S.-based company creating a linked creative community that allows corporations to engage with elite global creatives is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the product's efficiency. The company provides end-to-end project management for the whole creative process, allowing the team to generate high-quality output on time and within budget. Job Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable and constantly deliver excellent work on time
  • Work in a professional software engineering environment (source control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, continuous deployment) to write maintainable code with test coverage
  • Assist in the refinement of workflows, obtaining consensus, and moving toward implementation
  • Define, design, and construct experiences
  • Own production services from start to finish, much like the rest of engineering, and deploy numerous times every week
  • Maintain the systems' health and bug-free status
  • Identify chances to increase the product's efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and growth managers to determine how to simplify their jobs 
  • Improve the product's reaction speeds, making it wonderfully quick for end consumers
  • Best practices should be included in the development processes
  • Propose large-scale modifications in well-written specs that explain the challenges, aims, and solutions
  • Take part in design and code reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 4+ years of production-facing application development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of React.js (including hooks)
  • Familiarity with Typescript and Redux (Sagas)
  • Experience with Next.js and Git
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (Sass)
  • Experience building and maintaining a complex set of systems
  • Knowledge of product leads to delivery on time and on target
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies: sprints, boards, etc.
  • Must be a team player
  • Experience with Ruby (RoR)
  • Knowledge of Vercel and Heroku
  • Proficiency in English
