Job description

A fast-paced company addressing some of the most difficult issues in the healthcare industry, such as affordability and accessibility, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for regular site maintenance and web page optimization for optimal performance, scalability, and the greatest user experience. The company specializes in the importation of medical supplies, as well as advertising and distribution. This is an excellent chance for developers that appreciate collaborating with a team of highly skilled individuals to solve complicated challenges.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of site/app designs and convert them into the real, usable interfaces
  • Utilize multiple markup languages to write web pages
  • Perform regular site maintenance and optimization of web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and the best user experience
  • Maintain technical documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
  • Bridge the gap between visual designs and their technical implementation
  • Troubleshoot website and coding issues where needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in developing web-based UI using React.js
  • Proficiency in popular React tools such as webpack, Redux, Flux, etc.
  • Familiarity with debugging problems using appropriate tools
  • Knowledge of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and software designing and architecture best practices
  • Both verbal and written English communication skills
