Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that is revolutionizing the streaming and entertainment industry with their modern technology and services is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for improving the quality of the codebase regularly. The company aims to become the top streaming platform in its sector, connecting and enhancing the whole global television sector. During their Series H round, the company successfully raised more than $200mn in funding. This position requires 8+ hours of overlap with the PT time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Build innovative features to foster user engagement and commerce
  • Code, test, document, and ship features with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and optimization 
  • Determine the strategic direction of the front-end architecture 
  • Participate in the agile development process, including technical design, effort, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support 
  • Collaborate with program managers, marketing, designers, and software engineers in test to build and enhance the UI 
  • Innovate and create the best user experience 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience building high-traffic, consumer-facing websites
  • Extensive experience in JavaScript, React
  • Nice to have experience in Aws, SAAS, Less
  • Prolific expertise in prototypical inheritance, scope, and closures
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
