Job description

A US-based online ticket marketplace that bridges the gap between the fans and their favorite artists, shows, and teams via an app and website is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for augmenting the team that supports their current web presence and fixing bugs. The company's unique online marketplace facilitates a safe, convenient, and highly reliable environment for fans to buy or sell their tickets. It has managed to successfully raise more than $55mn in funding. This will be an excellent chance for candidates to work in a well-established team and grow their careers.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Successfully deploy code to production with a high level of automation, code coverage, and monitoring
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them through standard software development practices
  • Ensure top quality code; practice code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests in a continuous integration environment
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application
  • Display leadership qualities with an ability to take ownership of technical projects and processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Must have experience with React and vanilla JavaScript 
  • Familiarity with .NET and C#
  • Ability to solve complex challenges and arrive at implementable solutions
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
