Job description

A fast-growing company that is helping leading brands, corporations, and content creators engage audiences around the world, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be using best engineering practices for design, development, testing, deployment, and operations. The US-based studio enables businesses and individuals to leverage their best-in-class workflow management tools and skilled professionals to tailor solutions to meet any budget, timeline, and scope of work. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement new features and enhance the existing ones
  • Write clean, efficient code based on product specifications and take part in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution
  • Create reusable components that are used throughout the product 
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and keep them running
  • Collaboration with other software engineers, partner teams, business analysts, and product owners is essential

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Expertise in cross-platform desktop development for MacOS and Windows
  • Expertise in building and configuring embedded Linux systems and drivers
  • Must have expertise in C, C++, QT Widgets, and QML
  • Knowledge of Windows and macOS
  • Experience with Ubuntu (Linux), Linux device drivers, Development Tools, Visual Studio, Pycharm, QtCreator Protocol, Qml Boost, STL, WebSockets, and SQL is required
  • Knowledge of the Gstreamer framework is a plus
  • Expertise in project management and version control systems
  • Jira, Github, Subversion, Git is nice to have
  • Project build systems like CMake and Qmake
  • Intermediate English level is a must
