Job description

An emerging company that is transforming the current landscape of project management tools, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The developer will be responsible for maintaining the production environment, making it scalable and highly available. The company is building a comprehensive platform with project planning, collaborative execution, and control application delivered through a SAAS model. This will be a full-time position requiring some overlap with the CST/PST/EST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize cutting-edge web technologies to design and construct highly responsive and scalable enterprise apps
  • Write, test, and distribute high-quality software to the clients
  • Be a member of a dynamic, customer-focused team
  • Learn about cutting-edge technologies and business operations while building prototypes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Must have expertise in JavaScript, React, Redux, and Restful APIs
  • Excellent HTML/CSS and responsive web design skills
  • Some experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) is a plus
  • Extensive React Native mobile app development experience
  • Ability to swiftly pick up new technology and keep up with industry trends
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases is nice to have
  • Knowledge of scrum methodology and Continuous Integration is a plus
  • Knowledge of test-driven development and experience with Jest or other testing frameworks is desirable
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.) and Azure / AWS experience is nice to have
